Nicole’s Weekly Update #11

I think I have the most exciting news yet in my short, but very sweet Indie Author career thus far. I hope you’re as excited about the news as I am.

Officially, starting tomorrow, February 9th, 2013, Colt Edwards – my wonderful husband – has opted to leave his long standing career in which he has spent the last 13 years – and he is moving forward to join me in this exciting adventure. He will be focused on managing my brand. As many of you might know, being an Indie author is a full time job and that’s not only when the creativity sparks and we immerse ourselves in the writing! It also includes a significant amount of managing all of the other aspects of publishing a book. That has proven to be a little overwhelming for me mainly because my sole focus is my readers. I want to interact during those times that I’m not tucked away in my laptop with my characters speaking to me. 🙂 So, with Colt joining me, I look forward to some amazing things to come in 2013! Show him some love by friending him on Facebook when you get the chance. I promise, you won’t be disappointed. So, stay tuned because Colt is more than ready to SHAKE THINGS UP!

Now, I am hoping to answer a few questions I’ve been receiving. Not that I mind them in the least, but there seems to be a trend and I’m hoping if you are asking yourself the same question, I can help you out there.

When will the next book in the Club Destiny series be out?
Well, I’m thrilled to say that Infatuation (CD, #4) is set to release on February 28th, 2013 (right around the corner).

I think my CD fans will be knocked over by this one, truly I do. There’s some twists and turns that I didn’t even expect. And the feedback I am getting from my amazing beta reader’s is encouraging, so sit tight! And beginning next week, we will have contests almost daily to celebrate the upcoming release.

When will Zane’s story be here?!?!

I’m getting a lot of excited emails about Zane and you don’t know how happy that makes me. WITH THAT SAID… Zane is one of my most coveted characters so far and it is critical that I be able to get his story written how HE wants it. Zane’s a very controlling man and he’s teaching me patience in the most infuriating way possible. If all goes the way I expect, Zane will be released in April. Worst case, it will be May. But, I assure you, he is next. I’m devoting all of my time to him now that Infatuation is done.

Will you be at any of the upcoming book signings? 
I’m honored to say that I was invited to attend the Naughty Mafia book signing in August 2013 and Colt and I will DEFINITELY be there! I cannot tell you how excited I am about Vegas and I hope that some of you will be there as well. From those of you that have told me you are, well, I CAN’T WAIT to meet you!
