Because we’re counting down the days until CURTIS, I thought it would be interesting to get the Walker brothers to share with us some of their memorable moments. In talking to them, I asked them to write a letter to their parents, recalling one or more of those moments. Each day you’ll see a new letter from one of the brothers. I hope you enjoy!!!
Dear Mom & Pop,
There are two big things I remember. The first was the time when Brendon and I decided to have a roman candle fight in the backyard. You remember that, right? When we used metal trashcan lids as our shields and shot the fireworks directly at one another. I think we were thirteen. God, that was fun. It was a wonder we didn’t burn down the barn.
And what about the time when he and I got in a towel fight. It started out we were popping each other. When we grew bored of that, we soaked the bath towels and threw them at each other. In the house. I remember Pop sitting in his recliner, yelling at us. He finally stopped hollering so we kept right on going. Then the minute Mom walked in the door we knew we were in for it. I think there are still water spots on the ceiling from that day.
Yep, I think it’s safe to say that the two of you have earned the parents-of-the-century award for all that you’ve endured over the years. But through it all, you managed not to throttle us. Sometimes, I’m not sure how. Love you guys!
Love,
Braydon
