For eight years, I’ve been the reigning champion of procrastination, dodging my lifelong dream of transforming my family’s creaky old farmhouse into a charming bed and breakfast. Blame it on empty pockets, waning enthusiasm, or a myriad of flimsy excuses, I’ve done my best to keep myself distracted from my goal.

Just when I thought I’d perfected the art of delay, my cousin Travis Walker swoops in like a financial superhero, ready to invest in my dream and breathe new life into our sleepy town of Coyote Ridge. It’s time to roll up my sleeves and get to work, so of course it would be expected that another distraction would appear. This one in the form of a sexy city boy whose life has been flipped upside down.

Turns out Jack Cunningham is looking for a distraction of his own, and one night together is supposed to get us both back on track. But it would seem fate has another plan altogether. For both of us.
