I was glued to my phone, refreshing Amazon, wondering whether or not my phone was broken because it couldn’t be that people were actually reading it, enjoying it. It took my breath away. I remember texting Colt, telling him over and over again because it was the most incredible news I’d had in a very long time.
It’s me again!
Oh, my goodness. I can’t believe it, but this day has come around again, for the THIRD time!
Yes, that’s right, today is the 3rd anniversary of the day I published Conviction (Club Destiny, #1), the day I let “Nicole Edwards” out into the world, and holy sh*t has it been a wild ride.
3 years, y’all.
I still remember the day I realized people were actually reading Conviction. I was glued to my phone, refreshing Amazon, wondering whether or not my phone was broken because it couldn’t be that people were actually reading it, enjoying it. It took my breath away. I remember texting Colt, telling him over and over again because it was the most incredible news I’d had in a very long time. Only a few months after that did I decide to take the leap into writing full time and I haven’t looked back since. With book #31 – Never Say Never (Sniper 1 Security, #2) (my second m/m romance) – about to be released on August 18th, it’s safe to say that I’ve been busy.
BUT, I know I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you wonderful, amazing readers! You mean more to me than you will ever know. And yes, I’m a bit of a recluse, I tend to shy away from (real) people, hide out in my cave with the fictional ones most of the time, but I assure you, every single day, I am thankful for you. The emails, messages, posts, shares, likes, tweets, follows … you get the picture … they get me through each and every day. And when I’m writing, I’m also thinking about YOU, hoping you’ll love the characters, love the story, wondering what questions you’ll ask yourself, whether you’ll smile, laugh, cry, and yes, even strangle your e-reader. Like I said, you are always on my mind. Always!
So, to sum it all up, I want to say THANK YOU! I am forever humbled by your support, awed by your love for these characters and stories that have come to life on the page, having been pulled from the deep, dark, often erotic, recesses of my brain.
