What is your most annoying habit?
Ha! I think that would depend on who you ask. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t have any annoying habits.
What are some things that you can’t leave the house without?
The one and only thing I take when I leave the house – aside from my truck keys – is my cell phone. Hell, that thing is capable of doing anything. What else would I need to bring?
What would one find in your refrigerator right now?
Probably a ton of stuff that’s expired. When I’m on tour, I tend to come home to find that I need to make a run to the grocery store or starve.
Who are your inspirations?
The greats, of course. Johnny Cash, George Jones, George Strait. And if you weren’t talking about music, I’ll have to give it some thought.

What is your least favorite chore?
Sweepin’ the floor. I mean seriously. I know it doesn’t take much effort to do, but it takes more than enough to want to do it.
Is there a particular sound that you just love to hear?
Crickets chirpin’ in the trees while you’re outside under the stars. Ain’t nothin’ better than sittin’ around with nothin’ to do, preferably hangin’ with good friends and cold beer.
If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
If I had to? Like someone was forcin’ me to change my name? Cause they don’t like Dalton, or what? Sorry, need a good reason before I up and change my name. But hell, just for grins, maybe I’d go for Cletus. Just sounds right.
What is the first thing you bought with your own money?
A truck. My parents didn’t have the money to buy me a car, so I started workin’ at fifteen and saved every penny I made just to buy this piece of shit ol’ Chevy. I loved that damn truck.
When was the last time you were nervous?
Every single time I step on stage. It’s the one place I love to be, but I still get nervous every time I step in front of a crowd.
