“You realize the mall is where old people and teenagers go, right?” Teague huffed from the passenger seat. “Old people use it for a power walking course. And the kids … well, they chill with a smoothie or somethin’.”
Not a peep came from Hudson, but Teague expected no less. He figured if Hudson could speak, he would be one who spoke only a few words to make their point.
“And what’re we supposed to find there?”
Still nothing.
Teague peered in the backseat at Charger. “What do you think about shoppin’ at the mall?”
Charger tilted his head, clearly listening for a specific word, a command.
