That title just dragged you right on in, huh?
Okay, probably not. You’re likely here by luck of the draw, but I’ll take it.
Why, you ask? Well, because this is my goal for 2022. The blogging thing. One of them, anyway. I have many, I always do. (yes, I’m still talking about goals) However, I do have a specific reason for selecting this one: TO CAPTURE THE CHAOS IN MY BRAIN.
Okay, so that’s only part of my reason. There are others.
If you’ve read any of my recent blog posts, chaos seems to be a theme in my life, and there isn’t any specific reason for it. It’s one of those things that just is. Like wanting Chick-fil-A on Sundays, the one day of the week they are closed.
No rhyme or reason.
Perhaps chaos isn’t the right word, but it sure feels accurate.
Another major reason is because I need an outlet. One central hub where I can voice my thoughts, chaotic as they may be. Some people tell me social media is the right platform, but seriously, y’all, how do you even decide?
This is an accurate depiction of my brain.

First of all, I don’t have the cute one-liners so that means Twitter is out. Secondly, I don’t know how to communicate my message via dance, so that means TikTok is out (although I do have an account, so follow me, yeah?). I’m not photogenic enough for Instagram, but thankfully, my dogs are, which is the reason you’ll find them on my Instagram account. Facebook likes to limit your ability to even SEE what I might have to say, so I see no point there, but it doesn’t stop me from posting other stuff. I will continue to post on Facebook, both on my author page and in Nicole Nation. I do enjoy the direct interaction.
So that’s where I’m at. I am going to focus my efforts on blogging. You know, the random, chaotic bullshit that flutters through my brain on a daily hourly basis.
One thing I will point out, I will continue to send out a newsletter, but it will ONLY be for announcements: preorders, new releases, major giveaways, etc. This is the best way to ensure you are up to date on book releases. You can also get this information by signing up for text messages, if you’d rather get notified that way. Again, only the same announcements going out in text.
